What it does
Everything, in a sentence each.
For a story, a caption or a fact check. Every line describes something the apps do today.
- Home CookedHome Cooked is food from real Nairobi home kitchens. Each cook puts on a pot tonight and you order a plate; a PikaBox rider collects it, sealed, at her gate.
- PikaChefPikaChef books a vetted private chef to cook in your kitchen: dinner for two, a party, a cooking lesson or a week of meal prep.
- Flash suppersFlash suppers are Nairobi’s top kitchens, opened for you: each evening the city’s finest hotels share a few of their best plates for a few hours only.
- PikaFreshPikaFresh is our grocery store: fresh produce, the pantry and MealKits with every ingredient for a recipe, delivered in the slot you choose.
- Recipes and cook-alongRecipes on PikaBox come with a cook-along: one step at a time, with timers that run themselves and the ingredients a tap away on PikaFresh.
- Pika, your AI food assistantPika is the AI food assistant inside PikaBox. Ask it what to eat, and it finds, compares and plans across everything PikaBox does.
- Meal plans and challengesMeal plans put a week of good food on your calendar, and challenges keep you going with daily check-ins and streaks.
- HealthHealth links your phone’s health data, from Apple Health or Health Connect, to what you eat, and gives you plain-language wellness insights.
- PikaSocialPikaSocial is where food is shared: reels and posts, your nightly Sahani plate, Circles for family and friends, and Tables, supper at a host’s home.
- Safety and trustSafety is built into every part of PikaBox, from who can cook for you to how you pay and how your food reaches you.
