What we use
In plain words: essential cookies only. PikaBox can’t sign you in without them, so they are always on.
A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. Ours keep you signed in and protect the sign-in steps. We never sell your data, and we don’t use cookies to show you ads on other sites.
Every cookie, by name
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
pb_rt | Keeps you signed in. Holds a rotating sign-in token the browser can’t read. | Until you sign out or your sign-in expires |
pb_in | Tells our pages you’re signed in, so they say “Open PikaBox” instead of “Sign in”. Holds no secret. | As long as you’re signed in |
pb_otp | Remembers the code we emailed you between the two sign-in steps. | 10 minutes |
pb_oidc, pb_link | Protect signing in or linking with Google or Apple. | 10 minutes |
pb_qr | Lets you sign in on the web by scanning a code with the app. | 4 minutes |
Saved on your device
Some forms, like an application to cook or ride, save your draft in your browser’s own storage as you type, so you can finish later on the same device. It never leaves your browser until you send the form, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Your choices
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser’s settings; you’ll simply be signed out. If we ever add cookies that aren’t essential, such as ones that help us understand what’s working, we’ll ask you first and you can change your choice at any time.
More on how we look after your data in our privacy policy. Questions? hello@pikabox.co.
